After announcing their 2023 North American tour in support of their album “The Car” way back in October ’22, Arctic Monkeys are finally hitting the road starting Friday, Aug. 25.
From there, the beloved indie rockers — who some may know as Death Ramps — will perform at venues all over the U.S. and Canada up until Oct. 1 along with their special guest Fontaines D.C.
That includes a pair of back-to-back gigs at Forest Hills, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium on Friday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 9.
And if you’ve been on the fence about buying tickets for almost a year now, it still isn’t too late to scoop up seats to see the band debut their jazzy, cinematic new record live.
As of now, tickets are available for all 28 concerts on the band’s tour itinerary.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $53 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Want to hear “I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor,” “I Wanna Be Yours,” “505,” “Do I Wanna Know,” “R U Mine” and so many more live?

Arctic Monkeys new music
In 2022, Arctic Monkeys dropped their seventh studio album “The Car.”
Comprised of ten tracks, “The Car” sees the band pivoting in a new direction. Here, Turner and co. ditch the garage rock sound they’re known for and embrace strings over guitar.
For our money, there isn’t a clunker in the bunch — each song is a meticulously crafted pop confection with rich, evocative lyrics, complex arrangements and cinematic grandeur.
Still, if you want to familiarize yourself with one tune, we suggest the brooding “Sculptures Of Anything Goes” since the band has been opening their shows with the powerful tune.
If you want to listen to the finely textured record in its entirety, you can check out “The Car” here.
Arctic Monkeys special guest
At all performances, Arctic Monkeys will be joined by Fontaines D.C.
The post-punk Irish rockers sound a bit more like early-era Arctic Monkeys; moody, brash, emotional, fun.
Their infectious Iggy Pop-like sing-song ditty “Boys In The Better Land” is a great place to start if you’ve never heard their stuff.
